Description

PostCity Financial Credit Union is currently seeking a full-time Member Services Representative in our Long Beach Branch. The main responsibility is to assist our members with their financial needs by providing first class service.

• Teller functions
• Identifying products and services that best fit our members' needs
• Cross-sell credit union products and services
• Cash handling and cash drawer balancing in an accurate and timely manner
• Process mail transactions and bad address process
• Process routing file maintenance on member accounts
• Assist members with online and mobile banking login issues
• Open certificates and checking accounts
• Resolution of routine member inquiries
• Maintain knowledge of all state and federal regulations that are applicable to member services
• Other duties or special projects as assigned Requirements
  • Minimum of 1-year member services experience in a Credit Union or, financial institution is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including writing business correspondence.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work 32+ hours a week, Monday through Friday
  • Goal driven and able to meet or exceed established cross-sell goals
  • PC and calculator proficient, including experience with Microsoft products, Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team to accomplish goals and objectives.
  • Ability to provide attention to detail with accurate and consistent results.
  • Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous and changing priorities.
  • Must be able to operate office/branch equipment including telephone, copier, scanner, cash recycler, and ATM.
  • Working knowledge of operational regulations, laws, and principles
