Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Meets and greets parts customers in person or on the phone. * Assisting multiple customers and managing multiple internal responsibilities at the same time. * Research parts information requested by customers and provides responses in a timely manner. * Functions in a retail parts environment and comes up with creative ways to market/sell available inventory. * Assist General Manager in ordering and tracking parts required for customer installs * Other tasks as assigned. Experience, Knowledge and Skills * Previous truck or automotive parts counter/department experience a plus * Passionate for customer satisfaction and all sales strategies. * Strong work ethic. * Effective person-to-person and telephone communicator. * Team-oriented and self-motivated. * Skilled in computer and internet. * Must read and comprehend both written and oral instructions and information in English. * Have close attention to detail. Education and Qualification * Minimum of high school/GED diploma. * Forklift Certification. * Driver's license with clean record. Mathematical Skills * Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, etc. Reasoning Ability * Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. * Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills * To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of database software; internet software; inventory software; order processing systems; spreadsheet software and word processing software.
