Procurement Consultant

Part-time, remote



Key Skills

Five years of FTE experience providing procurement support services. Ideally this would include assisting the client develop a strategy/roadmap to develop and release a solicitation (RFO/RFP), evaluate vendor responses/bids, and identify the qualified vendor for large IT System Integration projects.
Three years providing contract management services. Ideally this would include ensuring the vendor is meeting contractual requirements and advising the end client how to ensure/resolve any contractual requirements not being met.
Minimum of five years of FTE experience preparing and delivering written and verbal communications for business and IT executives.
Five years of FTE experience in risk identification, mitigation and/or contingency planning associated with large IT system design, development, implementation services, and operations more than ten million dollars.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to be self-directed.
Strong relationship skills.
Strong problem management and incident management skills.
Works well in a dynamic and changing environment.
Experience with procurement support and contributing to the development of a strategy and roadmap.
20 hours a week.

Desirable:

Scrum Alliance Certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Certified Agile Leadership - Essentials) - If they do not have this certification are they willing to obtain it? It usually takes one day to obtain this certification.
Focused on having experience with Standards like IEEE, ITIL, ISO, OPM3, NIST
