We are growing and in need of a Construction Laborer for our facility.

The ideal candidate will be a safe, hardworking, team-oriented person who is ok with working outdoors on road construction crews and some travel.

Responsibilities -for this position include setting up construction equipment, tearing down construction equipment & prepping for transportation, and various operator and labor duties during a road construction operation. Some other duties could include preventative maintenance and daily inspections.

Responsibilities:
Construction Laborer Essential Duties:
--- Control traffic through the work zone safely
--- Hold Flagger Certification Credentials
--- Communicate continuously with other employees to assure the safety of the general public in work zone areas
--- Responsible for the cleanliness of construction equipment
--- Responsible for loading and unloading traffic control and other construction equipment
--- Complete timecards in a timely manner assuring completeness and accuracy of the same
--- Qualified individuals will drive class A or B vehicles between the construction site and the stockpile keeping the equipment loaded with material
--- Responsible for maintaining a professional relationship with the public and establishing ongoing good public relations
--- Attendance is an essential function of this position
--- General construction labor is required for all positions
--- Operation of equipment if qualified
--- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Construction Laborer Qualifications:
--- Must have good communication skills both written and verbal to interact with internal and external drivers and customers.
--- Have a current driver's license in good standing (Class A preferred).
--- Must possess the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects utilizing organizational skills and communications skills.
--- Strong sense of responsibility regarding timely and accurate completion of work, and a strong commitment to company goals.
--- Must be capable of functioning under fast-paced stressful working conditions within live traffic.
--- Prior pavement preservation experience is required.
