The Opportunity

Clean Harbors in West Sacramento, CA is hiring Class A Driver/Operator to join their safety conscious team! You will be responsible for operating equipment associated with industrial tank cleaning, utility work, facility shutdown, site remediation and rail car cleaning. Depending on location, drivers may be asked to perform the duties of a field technician if business needs warrant it.

This is a physically intensive position that may require up to 60% travel within the region based on business demands.

  • Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Perform industrial tank cleaning, utility work, facility shutdowns, site remediation and rail car cleaning;
  • Operates equipment such as, but not limited to: Vacuum Trucks (Cusco/Guzzler), Air Movers, Rolls offs and Tankers;
  • Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports;
  • Assist with Field Technician duties as required. What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
    
    • Willing to travel away from home up to 60% of the time;
    • Class A CDL License required;
    • Tanker/Hazmat endorsement preferred (Ability to obtain upon hire);
