Job Description:

Our client, a leading medical devices company is looking for a Junior Scientist. This is for an initial duration of 12 months and is located in West Sacramento, CA.

Description:

• 
  
• The Development Scientist assists in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies.
  
• The ideal candidate will primarily be in charge of overseeing inventory and logistics for preparation of experiments at external sites.
  
• In this role you may also be participating in the testing for internal sites as defined and planned by the department supervisor.
  
• Duties may also include protocol review and execution along with instrument calibration/operation as required.

  Position Requirements:
  
  
  • 
    
  • B.S. with 2+ years of experience in a laboratory setting, some technical and analytical expertise preferred.
    
  • Working with automated instruments and/or assay experience also preferred.
    
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
    
  • Must possess organization skills, the ability to problem solve, the adaptability to be flexible and work in a rapidly changing task-oriented environment while managing a variety of tasks.
