Astound Broadband is hiring for a Technical Administrative Coordinator in our West Sacramento, CA office. This position will provide a high level of administration support to the Region ranging from communicating with customers, contractors and internal customers. Primarily responsible for coordinating all bury drop work and handling installation and service call backs to customers in order to resolve customer concerns. Performs various administrative functions to assist the region in providing excellent customer service.

Where you will work:


  • This position will be based in Astounds West Sacramento, CA office.

    A Day in the Life of the Technical Administrative Coordinator:


    • Install and service call backs related to the Net Promoter Score report from a third party company. Responsible to contact customers, coordinate necessary work to meet the needs of the customers, follow up to ensure work is completed and update the tracker for the customer resolutions.


    • Assist manager as needed in researching any complaints that come to the regions through franchise or right of way authorities. Assist with providing information to resolve issues as they arise. May be dependent on location.


    • Provide exceptional customer service both internal and external.


    • Project a professional business manner and operate with a high degree of integrity.


    • Assist SVP with projects and provide research & data when needed.


    • Oversee the bury drop process for the region. This Process includes; Reviewing the bury drop form for accuracy and complete information; submits the form to construction for assessment; assign a work order for the drop; contact the contractor; when the job is completed by contractor, make contact with the customer to schedule the cut over and track proper status.


    • Work the age work order list and take appropriate action on any work orders over 2 weeks old which may include contacting customers or working with internal departments to complete the work order.


    • Verify customer accounts for technician commissions and note the tracking report.


    • Assist with field audit projects as needed; run audit reports by node, building, and street.


    • Support day to day activities and administrative duties of the technical regional group as needed.


    • Must have the ability to communicate effectively by telephone, correspondence, and in person


    • Must be able to sit for extended periods


    • Must have ability to frequently use repetitive motions of the wrist, hands and/or fingers


    • Must be able to work in a standard office environment; no hazardous or disagreeable work conditions


    • Must have ability to operate standard office equipment, to include personal computer, telephone, printer, copier, facsimile machine, and calculator


    • Must demonstrate excellent attendance & punctuality


      What You Bring to the Table:


      • Required minimum 2 years of experience in professional office environment


      • General cable and telecommunications experience preferred


      • Outstanding customer service skills


      • Upbeat, friendly demeanor


      • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality


      • Proficient in Word, Excel, and cable billing systems.


      • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills


      • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills


      • Motivated and possessing the ability to work independently with little or no supervision


        Education and Certifications:

        • High school diploma or equivalent
        • Preferred: Experience related to ICOM

            The base salary range in California for this position is $20.00 - $26.26 per hour, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. It is specific to California and may not be applicable to other locations.
