Woodshop/MillworkerBullet Guard Corporation is looking for a qualified individual to join our team as a Woodshop/Millworker. From standard transaction windows to complete ground up projects, Bullet Guard has the right people for the project no matter how large or small it is.Our products are widely used in courtrooms, government and corporate offices, banks, embassies, pharmacies, police departments, c-stores, gas stations, check cashing stores, fast food restaurants, drive up windows, ticket counters, and any place where ballistic and attack resistant security is required.Wood Shop / Millworker -Bullet Guard Corporation is looking for a qualified individual to join the Wood Shop. This person will be - responsible for manufacturing specific wood and acrylic components for bullet-resistant barrier systems and will work in a manufacturing or customer environment. This Wood Shop employee will work with a team to complete projects under pressure and at a fast pace.This person must have a broad range of knowledge related to CNC equipment, automated panel saws, hand tools, and an eye for fit and finish completed projects. -Experience with laminates and spray adhesives is required.Job Description:

Working with Fiberglass, Laminate, Formica, Veneer, etc. to create wood based bullet resistant materialsFiling and sanding edges of finished materialUtilizing spray glue to adhere materials to bullet resistant productsFollowing safety guidelines at all times within the shopBasic math skills and ability to read blueprints and interpret measurementsIntermediate understanding of basic carpentry toolsAbility to read and understand project drawings and blueprints to manufacture appropriate elementsAbility to do minor programming of CNC and panel saw. -Carpentry skills with experience manufacturing cabinets, tables, countertops, and doorsAble to operate a variety of equipment: CNC, Edgebanders, a variety of saws, and any other tool deemed necessary completion of projectAbility to glue laminate on countertops, cabinets, and doors without wasting materialsHard worker with multi-tasking abilityAbility to follow instructions and pick things up quicklyInitiative to learn new things and apply them to your tradeAbility to lift and handle heavy materials up to 50 poundsAbility to work in a manufacturing environment-loud, exposure to temperature changes, dusty, etc. -Qualifications
5+ years carpentry experience with emphasis on working with laminatesFit and finish experienceExperience with Formica and Corian is a plusPrior shop experience preferredExperience operating power saws, sanders, routers, and other heavy machinerySuccessful candidates will demonstrate:
