Together, were working at the pace of change to improve patient lives with diagnostic tools that address the worlds biggest health challenges.The Manufacturing Scientist role - Responsible for the testing of microbiology products for validation and design changes within Operations. Job is performed in a laboratory environment. Testing is performed per predefined methods and incumbent ensures product performance meets published standards. Works as a team member to manage the work schedule. Generate, prepare and issue routine data for quality reports. Participate in quality and process improvement projects.This position belongs to Microbiology Operating Company nested within Beckman Coulter and is located in West Sacramento. You will be an integral part of the Operations team and report to the Manager, Manufacturing Science for Microbiology.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Provide Operations project support (safety, cost, productivity, quality)
• Supports Operations validation and design change projects
• Incumbent must have a basic knowledge of Microbiology principles.
• Experience in aseptic technique and problem solving.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong computer skills required.The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Bachelors degree in field with 0-2 years experienceIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
    • Experience in Microbiology
    • Risk management, process validation, design of experiments, and design change.
