you are responsible for the development of Information Technology
strategies and designing the infrastructure necessary to support
that strategy, ensuring the department will meet current and future
business requirements; specifically in the areas of cloud computing
and networking. This position is the top technical expert in a
given specialized discipline, with knowledge and experience in one
to two other Information Systems disciplines. Employees in this
position research, advise, evaluate and help select any of the
following: current technology processes, data access, applications
development, hardware and software platforms and integration of
existing systems with new or enhanced systems. This position
provides leadership to Information Technology (IT) staff by
training and mentoring in methodologies and architecture
structure.How You will Make a DifferenceYou will establish and
direct strategic goals, policies and procedures of IT Department.
You will determine long term systems needs and corresponding
hardware and software acquisitions, enhancements or upgrades. You
will partner with IS Directors as well as Department Heads to
foster a collaborative enterprise perspective across projects,
functional areas and technical infrastructure. You will provide
established standards for all projects. You will set project
standards, conducts design reviews and ensures solutions adhere to
published standards or that all exceptions are evaluated and
approved. You will partner with external vendors to ensure Raley's
strategic vision is universally understood and supported. You will
educate and mentor IT staff in the technologies, methodologies and
standards of IT architecture.You will ensure Company-wide business
strategies are supported by IT solutions. You will maintain
integrated model of business processes and requirements, mapped to
current and planned IT solutions.You will identify and track
functional and technical gaps. You will propose strategies for
resolution of gaps and presents proposal to senior management.You
will maintain relevant knowledge of technology trends in the retail
industry and general information technology trends. You will
research, evaluate and recommend new or enhanced systems
technologies as appropriate for Company directives and needs. You
will determine cost feasibility and compatibility with existing
systems. You will present recommendation to senior management. You
will serve as a member on external councils composed of architects
and/or strategic personnel of other companies to share knowledge,
development strategies and problem resolution.Who You AreYou can

in Computer Science or related field, plus twelve (12) years of
experience in related application development, data base,
networking, information security, or systems development experience
OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Information technology and/or enterprise architecture certification
a plus (ie TOGAF, Zachman).Must demonstrate advanced knowledge of
enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.Permanent
