Job Description:

PCI-GS is seeking a Regional Contract Administrator to support our wonderful government client! The position is mostly remote with great salary and benefits suite!Responsibilities:Provide ongoing support to the Department of Transportation/Federal Transit AdministrationAssist in managing contracts, grants, and cooperative agreementsProvide support to various program offices with the drafting of requirements and preparation of acquisition package materialsWork with program managers on procurement policies, regulations, and proceduresSupport multiple purchasing actions in a fast-paced environmentCollaborate with a variety of Program Offices to ensure that all acquisition package components are completed in a compliant mannerMaintain working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency supplemental regulations; utilize all applicable regulations, policies, and proceduresJob Requirements & Skills:Must be able to pass a Public Trust security investigationBachelor's Degree (BA/BS) with at least 5 years of federal government procurement/acquisition experience (working on the government side)Knowledge of and experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)Knowledge of federal government acquisitions of commercial supplies and/or servicesMust have good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work with minimal guidance and supervisionDesired Skills:Experience purchasing within the transportation fieldExperience as an 1102 in the Federal GovernmentExperience with major contract writing systems is highly desirablePhysical Requirements:The physical demands described herein are representative of those which must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employees must possess the ability to work in a standard office or conference room setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer. To visit other company sites, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle and fly in an aircraft, both of which may require sitting for prolonged periods of time. Employees must possess vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups and over the telephone. Standing in work areas and walking between work areas will be required. This position requires an employee to occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance; reach, push, and pull drawers and doors open and closed.
