Job Description:
Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated Class B Box Truck Driver to
join our team and contribute directly to our efforts in providing
safe, sustainable, and effective environmental services across
North America. As an integral part of our transportation team, you
will be responsible for operating a Class B box truck to transport
hazardous and non-hazardous waste while complying with all safety
and governmental regulations. This position not only demands a high
level of responsibility but also offers the satisfaction of playing
a key role in protecting the environment by ensuring safe and
efficient disposal of waste. Safely operate a Class B box truck
following all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as
company policies. Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste from
customer sites to designated facilities. Ensure complete and
accurate documentation of shipment and compliance paperwork,
maintaining logs as per DOT regulations. Perform daily pre-trip and
post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure operational safety.
Engage with clients and customer representatives in a professional
manner during the collection and transportation of materials.
Participate in routine training on safety and emergency response
procedures. Report any issues or incidents encountered on the road
or at customer sites to management in a timely manner. Ability to
operate a Class B box truck and other related equipment safely and
efficiently. Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards
for transporting hazardous materials. Strong communication and
documentation skills, including the ability to manage logs and
compliance reports accurately. Good physical condition and ability
to manage the handling of materials as required. Medical Insurance
