and so are the rewards. The Growth Engineering team builds the
systems that drive new customer acquisition across SEO, paid
marketing, and user incentives. We partner closely with Product,
Data Science, Marketing, and Marketing Technology to improve
conversion and increase funded accounts. This newly formed team has
significant opportunity to shape technical foundations and deliver
measurable growth outcomes! As an Engineering Manager, you will
lead the technical direction and execution strategy across multiple
growth domains. You’ll partner with Product to define a focused
roadmap, ensure high-quality delivery of scalable systems, and
build a strong team culture centered on accountability and results.
Your work will directly contribute to Robinhood’s long-term U.S.
and international growth strategy. This role is based in our Menlo
Park, CA office, with in-person attendance expected at least 4 days

fully support high-performing teams. What you’ll do ? Partner with
Product Managers to define and prioritize a roadmap across SEO,
paid marketing systems, and incentive programs. ? Lead the design
and delivery of scalable systems on AWS that support customer
acquisition and campaign optimization. ? Manage and develop
engineers through clear goals, regular feedback, and career
development planning. ? Collaborate with Data Science and Marketing
teams to evaluate performance data and improve acquisition and
funded account outcomes. What you bring ? 5–8 years of software
engineering experience, including 2–3 years managing engineers
directly. ? Experience building and operating distributed systems
using AWS or similar cloud infrastructure. ? Experience partnering
with Product to scope initiatives and deliver against defined
business objectives. ? Background in SEO platforms, web systems for
organic acquisition, paid marketing optimization, growth
experimentation, or related domains. ? Ability to balance hands-on
technical leadership with people management and operational

to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for
bonus opportunities equity benefits. Base pay for the successful
applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which
may include education, training, experience, location, business
needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role
is based on the location where the work will be performed and is
aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not
listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during
the interview process. Base Pay Range: Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New
York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC) $230,000 - $270,000 USD
Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL) $203,000 - $238,000
USD Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL)
