development. 3 years of experience with Android application
development. 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership
role. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer
Science or related technical field. 3 years of experience working

theirs. As a Software Engineering Manager you manage your project
goals, contribute to product strategy and help develop your team.

expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and
locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of
large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally. The
remix team focuses on optimizing the creator journey and driving
growth through innovative Remix tools. We are dedicated to building
a frictionless creation experience, including leveraging AI related

full-time position is $207,000-$300,000 bonus equity benefits. Our
salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within
the range, individual pay is determined by work location and
additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and

Responsibilities Build an effective and engaged team that feels
supported by leadership and connected with each other. Partner with
Product Management, UX Design, UX Research, and Program Management
to plan, prioritize, and implement high impact projects for YouTube
shorts. Develop a strong culture of engineering and data practices
that allow us to make good decisions quickly in a rapidly-evolving
business landscape. Mentor an amazing group of engineers to help
them get to the next stage of their career trajectory. Define
roadmap to adopt GenAI in building advanced features that inspire
fun and high quality creation.
