As a Software Engineer at Northrop Grumman you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Enterprise-wide digital transformation. The successful candidate will be collaborative, open, transparent, and team-oriented with a focus on team empowerment & shared responsibility, flexibility, continuous learning, and a culture of automation.**What You'll get to Do:**+ Design, develop, document, test and debug applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.+ Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.+ Determine computer user needs; analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepare operating instructions. Ensure software standards are met.**Basic Qualifications:**+ Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant work experience, or Master's degree with 3 years of relevant work experience; note, an additional 4 years relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree+ Experience with C, C++ or Java+ Understanding of systematic testing methods+ Understanding of all phases of software development, and practical experience in an Agile / Dev*Ops environment+ US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI (access) security clearance**Preferred Qualifications**+ Bachelor degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math)+ Experience with leading small teams, projects, or working as a Scrum Master+ SIGINT Domain knowledge+ Experience with Web development UI+ Experience with Geospatial applications such as ArcGIS+ Experience with Hardware integration+ Experience with Python, JavaScript or other scripting languages+ Experience with CI/CD pipeline+ Current active TS/SCI (access) security clearance**What We Can Offer You:**Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment that encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company.
