Responsibilities:
What You Will DoAs a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) in the field, you will serve as a strategic partner that develops HR initiatives to positively impact business performance, HR metrics and overall organizational effectiveness. Through active Servant Leadership, you will act as a consultant and thought partner to the Store Operations Leadership Team fostering effective relationships. You will support multiple stores across a regional geographic are that spans across the Bay Area, including but not limited to the following cities: Windsor, Santa Rosa, Napa, Fairfield, Benicia, San Pablo, Brentwood, Livermore, Pleasanton, Fremont, Alameda, Redwood City, San Jose, Santa Clara, Mountain View, Hollister, Scotts Valley, Capitola, and Salinas. - -How You will Make a DifferenceYou will provide strategic oversight to various HR activities such as recruitment, workforce planning, leadership development, succession planning, compensation, benefits, payroll, performance management, employee relations, etc. to support our team member experience in the stores within your geographic areasYou will use HR analytics to influence business operatorsYou will develop and facilitate training classes on such topics as Leadership, Company Culture and Values, Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, and Total Team Member Experience.You will support multiple leaders and various levels of the organizationYou will mitigate risk by applying your extensive knowledge of State, Federal and legal regulations and requirements related to human resources including, EEO, ADA, Worker's Compensation, FMLA, Wage & Hour and others.

You have experience serving as a Talent Management expert; assisting with the development and execution of Talent Management strategyYou have extensive experience facilitating performance reviews and succession planning. Experience with unionized work environments and/or union avoidance is preferred. Experience in business or in retail industry and multi-unit is preferred. - Certification preferred: PHR, PHR-CA, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP or other HR certification with emphasis on strategic HR practices and methodologies.Valid driver's license. - -PHYSICAL DEMANDS - Team members may occasionally experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time: -Driving - 50% travel to multiple locationsKeyboarding and sittingTelephone - hearing and speaking -Permanent residency in California or Nevada is a condition of employment for this position.
