Job Description
The Global Product Marketing Manager - Microbiology is responsible
for growth and sustainment on Microbiology product lines. This role
will be responsible for delivering on a customer centric portfolio
growth strategy. Additionally, this role will be responsible for
product life cycle management and provide support for regional
sales and marketing initiatives to drive global growth. This
position belongs to Microbiology Operating Company nested within
Beckman Coulter and is a remote or hybrid onsite role that
collaborates with colleagues in West Sacramento, CA. At
Microbiology as one of the world's leading ID/AST companies, our
vision is to ensure that every patient has access to the right
antibiotic treatment at the right time. You will be an integral
part of the Global Marketing team and report to the Sr Manager,
Global Marketing for Microbiology. If you thrive in a fast-paced
setting, leading multi-functional teams and inspiring change
describes you - read on. In this role, you will have the
opportunity to: Develop and execute a customer centric product
development strategy for Microbiology systems. Deliver VOC and VOS
to inform product requirements and commercialization plans. Develop
strong relationships with industry experts and customers. Conduct
competitive analysis and market research to drive product
development and global strategy. Utilize DBS and work in
multi-functional teams to develop new products and support existing
portfolio. Act as a consultant and product advisor to sales and
regional downstream marketing. The essential requirements of the
job include: Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Engineering, or
Business, or a related field with 10+years of shown experience or a
master's degree with 8+ years of experience. Work experience should
include product development and product line management of
instruments and software. Work experience should include business
case development driven by market and customer analysis. Ability to
travel (domestic and internationally). Location flexible (local or
willing to travel to Sacramento). It would be a plus if you also
possess previous experience in: Experience in Microbiology
(Clinical Diagnostics and Clinical Microbiology). Experience
working in a Healthcare regulated Product Development and Sales
environment, e.g., FDA, IVD
Additional Job Details:
This position is fully remote. Will consider candidates with level
II Global Product Marketing manager experience/skills.
