Job Description:
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical
Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related technical
field, or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience
working in a consumer devices battery technical environment, or 3
years of experience with an advanced degree. Experience with mobile
phone architecture. Experience designing Li-Ion batteries.
Preferred qualifications: Master's or PhD degree in Electrical
Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
Experience in fuel gauge design or algorithm development.
Experience with test automation and scripting. Experience with
developing testing schedules for battery characterization equipment
such as Maccor, Arbin, etc. Understanding of product thermals, IC,
and product packaging issues/limitations. About the job Be part of

position is $159,000-$231,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary
ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the
range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional
factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant

Responsibilities Design and implement proof of concept fuel gauge
solutions to enable next generation designs. Work with other
hardware engineers to analyze power tree architecture and component
selection trade-offs. Work cross-functionally across the
organization to drive holistic solutions. Communicate with leading
power vendors and track industry trends. Collaborate and influence
these partners to obtain solutions/features for Pixel hardware.
Perform testing and correlation of proposed solutions against data
provided by silicon vendors. Characterize battery designs to
predict aging under a variety of conditions.
