Job Description Job Description Salary: $26-$36/hour Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Level 2Mechanical Inspectorto join our quality team. The ideal candidate will have strong inspection skills, GD&T knowledge, and be proficient with mechanical inspection tools. This role supports first article, in-process, and final inspections on precision components for medical device industries. Key Responsibilities: Ability to operate CMM (ZeissCalypso software preferred) Perform inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gages, pin gages, etc. Use automated inspection systems (Keyence, SmartScope) Approve/reject raw materials and finished components Interpret engineering drawings with GD&T Maintain accurate inspection records and calibration of equipment Collaborate with machinists and engineers to resolve quality issues Support compliance with ISO 13485 and other regulatory requirements Qualifications: 3 years mechanical inspection experience in precision manufacturing GD&T knowledge (ASME Y14.5) Strong proficiency with inspection hand tools Experience in ISO 13485 or regulated industries preferred Detail-oriented, strong problem-solving skills Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Proficient in MS Office
