Our company is experiencing growth and looking to add to the maintenance andmechanic team in Sacramento, CA. This position will perform a variety of dieselmechanic responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience andmeet the following requirements:Inspect and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers to meet DOT inspectionrequirementsDiagnose electronic diesel engine control systemsRepair or replace defective parts, components or systemPerform preventative maintenance in a timely manner and maintain all servicerecords on all trucks and forkliftsInspect trailer components and make repairs to hydraulics, and other trailer partsWill need to perform road-side service as neededCrane knowledge highly desiredQualifications:Work with little supervisionAble to use and navigate a computerMust have a current drivers license, CDL preferred; with clean driving recordAbility to manage multiple tasks with accuracySafety-consciousWelding experience preferredMust be able to frequently lift 50+ lbs, climb, stand, walk squat, bend, and kneelcontinually throughout the entire 8+ hour shiftThe expected starting pay range is $32.00 - 35.00 per hour, based on the candidate'sequivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same jobclassification.
