Job Description:
As an Area Director of Finance at US Foods, you will play a
pivotal role in steering the financial direction of one of
America’s leading foodservice distributors. You will collaborate
with approximately 300,000 restaurant and foodservice partners,
managing financial strategies that uphold our reputation for
quality and efficiency across multiple markets. This dynamic
position requires a detailed understanding of financial management
within the food service distribution industry, underlined by a
robust strategic outlook and exceptional leadership qualities to
guide our regional financial teams. Oversee financial operations
and strategy across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with
corporate financial goals and objectives. Develop and implement
budgets, financial forecasts, and reports, adjusting strategies to
reflect changing business needs and economic conditions. Lead,
mentor, and build capabilities within regional financial teams to
enhance performance and financial acumen. Liaise with senior
management team to inform on financial status, strategic decisions,
and operational impact. Ensure compliance with all financial
regulations and maintain integrity in all financial transactions
and reports. Analyze market trends to identify opportunities and
risks, and develop responsive strategies. Strong leadership and
communication skills Expertise in financial forecasting and
strategy Proficient with financial software and Excel Analytical
skills with attention to detail Ability to manage large teams and
multiple projects CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA
(Certified Management Accountant) preferred
